In 1960 he opened the first Pace Gallery in Boston and since then has been counting 7 houses in New York, London and Beijing. French culture is a pioneer of the Pace Galleries, which organized numerous exhibitions of French artists and French art. Among the artists presented at the Pace Gallery are: Mark Rothko, Adolph Gottlieb, Robert Irwin, Sol LeWitt and Claes Oldenburg. From the personal collection Arne Glimcher was made for the exhibition at the Center Pompidou by Jean Dubuffet: L’exposition du Centenaire, loans. For the 40th birthday of the Pace Gallery the book Adventures in Ar: 40 Years at Pace was published.
