Why do you make art?
I have always loved the act of creating, since I was eighteen months old. I have continued to create art for the past thirty-eight years because it is my divine passion and a cathartic act. It is a positive release of experiences of intense beauty and emotions.
Can you describe your typical working day?
I create practically every day. My morning is a symphony of coffee, correspondences with patrons and my gallery curator, and then times of creation. I have a disciplined studio practice. It is important to me to create on a daily basis and create the space and peace necessary for painting.

Are you interested by the buyers of your art ? Do you want to know about their reasons ?
I am always interested in meeting my patrons and learning why and how my art touches their heart. I am very thankful for my patrons, as patronage is how I go forward as an artist. I have been very blessed to be a full-time artist for the past twenty years.
How does your atelier look like?
My Atelier is dreamy, romantic, and full of Light–from the work on the walls of large-scale paintings created all over the world, to the hand-painted pottery, and my Lifestyle Collection to the light that streams through the large floor to ceiling windows.

Can you tell us a bit about “Flower Market: In Paris” ?
Flower Market: In Paris, Grace, Beauty…© TIFFANI TAYLOR
“Flower Market: In Paris” was painted in my apartment in Paris, in the 8th arrondissment. The floral composition is inspired by the flower market juxtaposed to La Madeleine. It was a daily routine to visit La Madeleine to light a candle and then study the magnificent blooms at the flower market. I went back to my apartment and painted the work from memory. Within the painting, I have collaged sheet music and ephemera from the vendors along the River Seine. Traditional gold leaf accents the composition, as well as stream-of-conscious poetry written from my heart of remembrance and describing the beauty of the flower market. Vintage letters, in French, are also peeking through the composition.
