Harper’s Bazaar Retrospective

The famous fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar is having a retrospective at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to showcase 150 years of fashion with photographs, objects, clothing, and magazine articles on display. The impressive retrospective opens just in the middle of Paris Fashion Week – the perfect visit for fashion lovers to catch in between runway shows.

Jeremy Shaw: Cathartic Technology

As part of the “Mutations / Créations” program that highlights the intersection of art and technology at the Centre Pompidou, Canadian artist Jeremy Shaw will have his first major museum exhibition. The Berlin based artist is known mostly as a techno DJ and will explore music and the future of humanity throughout an exhibition that crosses various mediums including video, sound, dance, and photography.

Cézanne and the Italian Masters

The Musée Marmottan-Monet places the paintings of Paul Cézanne in context with masterpieces from Italian painters from the 16th to 19th century. Around sixty works in total will be on display, coming together from some of the greatest private and public collections in the world. The exhibition will explore the importance of Latin culture in Cézanne’s work and how he influenced other Italian masters later on.

Christian Louboutin: L’Exhibition[niste]

Le Palais de la Porte Dorée opens an exciting fashion exhibition this week with the personal collection of internationally renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin on display.
