It’s finally spring and if, like us, you feel like being reborn at this time of the year, changing everything, modifying your interior decoration, then you’ll love discovering these interior designers! We’ve selected our 10 favorite interior designers of the moment on Instagram, to inspire you and give you new ideas from around the world, let’s go for the ride.

FRANCE

Heju Studio

@hejustudio

This is the up and coming architect studio in Paris, run by Hélène Pinaud and Julien Schwartzmann. Their Instagram account is very inspirational, with a fresh style and trademark curves and niches in the walls. Both stylish and almost timeless, they know how to capture the current mood and make it last! Their Insatgram stories allow us to witness the evolution of their work at their clients’ homes, and through them we can indulge our own passion for interior design on a daily basis and pick up tons of ideas. Passionate about sculptures (like us) they consider the multi-dimensionality of all surfaces. They have recently partnered with Ressource paints to give walls different textures!

Jacques Garcia

@jacquesgarciaofficiel

There is no need to introduce him to anyone, Jacques Garcia has been the star of the hotel industry since 1991 (it all started with the Barrière group). He is the master of creating an ambience, a magician who makes us believe we’re abroad without us moving a foot! Jacques Garcia also works for individuals and through his Instagram account, he shares his wonderful creations. For the past 30 years, Garcia has been at the forefront of the interior design scene thanks to his talent, his eye and his curiosity. Did you also know that he is an avid collector? In 1992, he bought the Château du Champ de Bataille to house his countless collections of art objects, mainly of royal origin. More than an interior designer, Jacques Garcia is a defender of heritage and an igniter of emotion, reconciling classical and modern styles!

GREAT BRITAIN

Campbell-Rey

@campbellrey

GREAT BRITAIN + USA

Nune

@_nunenune_

Nune is a small design studio located in New York and London, which transports its clients with its simplicity and precision. They are driven by the conviction that thoughtful design contributes to well-being, and it shows! They pay particular attention to both the planet and health, and prefer to work with talented small businesses and craftsmen. At SINGULART, we like this local approach, which is totally in line with our international footprint!

Sheena Murphy founded Nune in 2014. This British designer lived in New York for 12 years, as well as in Seattle and Bangalore, India, before returning home to London in 2018. She studied business before earning a degree in interior design at Parsons in New York.

Tor Sauder, originally from Canada, her partner, lives and works in New York. After living in Amsterdam and London where she studied interior design at KLC, she moved to New York. World-wide influences are therefore found in these two aesthetes of simplicity.

Nate Berkus

@nateberkus

Nate Berkus started his interior design company at the age of 24. He has since created an empire, thanks in particular to Oprah Winfrey who contacted him for a “make over” on her show! The firm is celebrating its 25th anniversary with Nate Berkus and Lauren Buxbaum Gordon at the helm. Their work has been featured in Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, Traditional Home, Harper’s Bazaar, VOGUE and ELLE, among others. The firm is considered an industry leader and is listed in the prestigious Architectural Digest AD100 (we’re fans!) and ELLE Decor.

Kelly Wearstler

@kellywearstler

Let’s finally discuss the remarkable work of this female American interior designer. She is the queen of “Maximalism”, obsessed with dramatically oversized silhouettes which always make her punchy. The Kelly Wearstler Studio is a multidisciplinary team of designers and architects who believe that opposites should coexist, such as history and modernity; imagination and rigor. Inspiration is found in the resulting tension, in the singular integration of experiences. It is this cross-pollination that unleashes the creative potential of the studio’s teams, whether for furniture, lighting, textiles, interior designn or concepts, everything is worked on as a team! A little description to let you get to know Kelly Wearstler a little better: she has a university education in interior design and architecture and is the author of five design books. Among the magazines that regularly feature her are Elle Décor and AD, and she was named Top International Designer of Spain, and among the Top 20 Designers in Wallpaper Magazine and Time Magazine. Wearstler was the first interior designer to teach a MasterClass and is a board member of Desert X (a California-based charity that organizes exhibitions of contemporary art at desert sites through site-specific installations by renowned international artists).

GERMANY

Sebastian Herkner

@stebastienherkner

Sebastian Herkner likes to touch everything. During his design studies, he began to focus on object and furniture design, honing his keen sense of materials, colors and textures. After a short stint at Stella McCartney in London, he founded his own studio in 2006. Since then, he has designed furniture, lamps and small objects for various manufacturers, but he also carries out interior architecture, museum and exhibition design projects. His work has been awarded in many countries and he was elected by Maison&Objet “Designer of the Year” in 2019.

How would you summarize his work? An unconditional love for traditional craftsmanship combined with an intrigue of new technologies, a real flair for color, authentic materials and textures, and an unabashed curiosity for different cultures – that is the Sebastian Herkner touch!

KitzigDesign

@kitzigdesignstudios

Under the name Kitzig there are different disciplines that jointly develop holistic design concepts for companies: Kitzig Interior Design, Kitzig Identities and Kitzig Details. Kitzig Interior’s moto is to make the world unique, representing values such as sustainability, authenticity, progress and sensuality. His values can be found on his Instagram account, which showcases his designs for hotels and villas, with the decoration always warm and tasteful. The considerations here are not only visual, research into the materials and their impact on the environment are carried out in depth and treated seriously. We admire this unification of visual harmony and environmental concern. “The quintessence of life is love – for people, for free thought, for the potential for change. To implement this love in our work is our claim.” This claim is as thoughtful as it is passionate!

SOUTH AFRICA

Donald Nxumalo

@donaldnxumalo

He describes his style as functional, beautiful and extravagant all at the same time. This young architect based in Johannesburg transports us with his African influences. He knows how to play with graphic lines but also brings warmth and balance through colors and patterns. This complementarity makes it possible to be in the correctness while proposing a decoration of character, which does not resemble any other. Donald is passionate about birds and his settings allow us to fly away into a chic and colorful world. Often featured in magazines such as ELLE, AD, we love following him on his Instagram account as he powerfully shares his vision and positive energy!
