SINGULART is extremely proud to announce that we have just received €60 million in fundraising! This investment by Vitruvian Partners, and our historical investors, Ventech, Bpifrance and Turenne Group is the largest amount in the history of the cultural sector, and will allow us to continue in our mission of empowering artists worldwide.
Since 2017, SINGULART has become the worldwide leading online art gallery, supporting over 10,000 artists from over 146 countries, made possible thanks to the passion for art of more than 20,000 collectors all over the globe. This fundraising enables us to further increase our global brand awareness, reach new collectors and transform the art market by building innovative new projects to further empower artists.
Our new fundraising Series B investor Vitruvian, as well our Series A investors Ventech, BPI France and Turenne Group are all major actors for the democratization and innovation of the art market, and intend to aid in our push forward and desire to create ever more opportunities for artists and collectors.
“With Vitruvian, we found partners that both believe in our purpose to transform the art industry to make it more accessible for collectors and fairer for artists. They trust our ambition to become the worldwide leading premium business in the art market. This fundraising is a strong signal showing artists that we are here to stay and have the means to support them long-term. In a post-pandemic world, artists need new ways to distribute their original creations more than ever before and art enthusiasts are seeking more creativity in their daily lives.”Véra Kempf, Co founder of SINGULART
With this influx in capital we aim to continue transforming the art market, making it a more democratic and transparent space. We also hope to continue launching innovative new projects that increase our ability to support artists and connect them with collectors, such as our new platform balthasart, entirely dedicated to up-and coming artists and young or first-time collectors.
A Final Word….
Lastly, we want to say a big thank you to you, our artists and collectors. None of this would be possible without your efforts and continued support, which is of the highest value to us.
So lets raise a glass and toast to our future together!
